The Los Angeles Lakers look dead in the water, but they still have 18 more games to play before they can get to what promises to be a chaotic offseason. And they’ll be without a key player in their next one.
Starting forward Kyle Kuzma is out for Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets, who have the 2nd best record in the Western Conference.
Kuzma turned his right ankle during the final moments of the Lakers loss on Monday night to the Los Angeles Clippers. Although Kuzma will miss Wednesday, he’s been one of the more durable members of the Lakers, playing in 60 of a possible 64 games.
