The Los Angeles Lakers start a seven-game stretch of games as the visiting team on Friday night as they visit the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers will likely be without Andre Drummond, in addition to being without their two stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James, as Drummond continues to deal with the discomfort of losing his right big toenail.
And as will be the case throughout the next two weeks, their opponent is playing for something. The Sacramento Kings, seen by many as potential sellers at the trade deadline, kept their chips and are making a run at the play-in tournament in the West. As of Friday morning, the Kings are just one game back of the Golden State Warriors for the No. 10 seed in the West, the last spot for the play-in.
