Sept. 25--Hall of Fame basketball player James Worthy has put a home in Bel-Air on the market for $2.195 million.
Worthy, who owns other property on the Westside, bought the house in 1997 for $945,000, property records show.
The two-story home in guard-gated Bel-Air Crest was built in 1990 and has cathedral-style ceilings, wood and tile floors and fireplaces in the living and family rooms.
Some 3,900 square feet of interiors includes an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, a wet bar and a media/game room. The master suite features dual vanities and a soaking tub for a total of four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

Worthy, whose play earned him the nickname "Big Game James," made seven all-star teams and won three NBA titles with the Lakers during the "Showtime" era. The 52-year-old was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
He currently works as an NBA analyst for Time Warner Cable SportsNet.
