Lakers fans not pleased with LeBron’s IG milestone post after loss

The Los Angeles Lakers dropped two road games to sub-.500 teams and fell to 11th in standings, which means emotions among the fanbase are quite raw at the moment. But LeBron James also became the first player in NBA history to rank in the top-10 in both points and assists on Monday.

And this dichotomy between James’ individual accomplishments and his team’s disappointing play have been revisited a lot recently as he rises up the record books. This has been a fairly common subplot for James and his teams over the past few years, as was pointed out by LeBron Wire’s Chris Ross.

But with the Lakers losing, his post wasn’t exactly well-received among Lakers fans. Here’s the original post from James’ page.

And the comments, well, they weren’t great and they’re also probably NSFW.

Other folks on NBA twitter had quite a bit of fun with it.

Things are tough right now in Laker land.
