Lakers fan has three-step plan to fix the team, and it involves LaVar Ball

A small crowd of disgruntled Lakers fans gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles today to voice their displeasure with the current front office regime and their unsuccessful search for a new head coach.

A few of the more creative fans made posters to express their feelings and while there were a number of good ones, the one that stood out the most included a three-step plan to fix the Lakers. What is that plan, you ask?

Step one: Sign LiAngelo Ball.

Step two: Draft LaMelo Ball.

Step three: Hire LaVar Ball.

Here’s a picture of the sign courtesy of NBA writer Dave Schilling:

Obviously the sign was meant as a joke, but if LaVar himself was presented with this plan, he’d likely be on board with it. After all, we’re talking about the same guy that thinks the Lakers would win a championship if they paired LeBron James with all three of his sons.

While it’s possible that the Lakers luck out and snag LaMelo — a five-star recruit — in the 2020 NBA Draft, the other two options are highly unlikely. Sorry, LaVar and LiAngelo.
