Lakers assistant Jason Kidd is reportedly interested in Sixers head job

After the Philadelphia 76ers let go of head coach Brett Brown after eight seasons of work, the head job for the Sixers appears to be the most sought-after head coaching gig on the market. With all due respect to the Brooklyn Nets, it appears that the biggest names on the coaching market are trying to work themselves in a position to get the job of finishing The Process. Joining former Cavaliers coach Ty Lue as a name of interest for the Philly job is Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd, according to the latest from Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Kidd drew great interest last summer from the Los Angeles Lakers for their head coaching job, before giving the job to Frank Vogel. Reports indicated that Lakers management wanted to have Kidd on the staff and he was the assistant sent to the play-in game to scout the Portland Trail Blazers before their first-round series.
