Lakers and Clippers set to face off in one of five Christmas Day games

NBA junkies all over the country finally have some match-ups to chew on as leaks came out regarding the league’s Christmas Day games later this year. And as expected the Los Angeles Lakers are featured. But for the first time since 2016, LeBron James will get to stay home on Christmas Day as his Lakers will face off the re-vamped Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

While the timing of the games isn’t certain, the matchup between the Clippers and Lakers seems to be the marquee matchup alongside Milwaukee vs. Philadelphia, which is another match-up reported by ESPN’s Malika Andrews.

LeBron’s teams haven’t played at home since Christmas Day in 2016 when he and the Cavaliers played host to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. James has played the last two Christmases in Oakland against the Warriors. Meanwhile, ESPN’s Tim McMahon reported that the Warriors will face off against the Houston Rockets.
