Lakeland is opening a pop-up shop in Bristol's Cabot Circus

Quakers Friars has seen plenty of change over the past few years, with both a number of high-profile closures and also some exciting new additions.

Italian restaurant Carluccio's closed at the turn of the year and was followed by Michael Kors, LK Bennet and Gant, leaving vacant units on the upmarket stretch.

But early next year, hospitality group D&D London will open its latest site in the heart of Quakers Friars , in the building currently occupied by Brasserie Blanc, which is closing in September.

And there is more good news around the corner for the premier shopping destination, as a new pop-up store is opening there soon.

Lakeland is a long-running British chain store which stocks a range of kitchenware and home accessories.

The brand has a shop in Cribbs Causeway at The Mall but will soon double the number of outlets it has in Bristol with the launch of its Quakers Friars shop.

Branding for the store, located in between Hobbs and Reiss, in the unit formerly occupied by The White Company, has gone up and a sign has appeared in the window alerting customers know that it is 'opening soon'.

Bristol Live has contacted Lakeland for more information.
