Lake Macquarie police seek owners of $50,000 in alleged stolen goods

POLICE are seeking the owners of dozens of allegedly stolen items recovered in a Belmont search warrant late last month.

Officers searched an Arlington Street address on September 25 relating to several alleged copper thefts.

Police said they found more than 50 items during that raid that they allege were stolen.

The items include a field line marker, floor polisher, floor sander, concrete cutter, high-pressure cleaner and ceiling projector.

Lake Macquarie police estimate the haul is worth roughly $50,000 and are hoping to find the owners of the items.

Anyone with information can contact Belmont Police Station on (02) 4922 8899 or call Crime Stoppers.
