Lake bursts its banks at Holme Pierrepont with some footpaths out of use

Some footpaths are out of use at Holme Pierrepont after the boating lake burst its banks.

These pictures show the volume of water on the paths at the popular country park.

Walkers are currently not able to access some footpaths at the site.

It comes after a number of sections of the River Trent burst its banks following recent downpours.

Last week, a garage near Lowdham was hit for the fourth time in a month by flooding, with the director describing it was 'crippling' his business.

More rain and snow is forecast in the coming days.

Lower Derwent in Derbyshire

Lower River Soar in Leicestershire

River Idle in Nottinghamshire

River Trent from Cromwell Weir to Gainsborough

River Trent in Nottinghamshire

Witham in North Kesteven
