- Country music star Lainey Wilson and her new husband, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, made their debut as newlyweds on the red carpet at the ACM Awards one week after tying the knot.
- Wilson, 33, married the former NFL player and realtor on May 10 in Tennessee. They were all smiles as they posed for photos at the awards show on May 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Wilson, a two-time former Entertainer of the Year, kicked off the show with her latest single, the anthemic Can't Sit Still.
- Ella Langley emerged as the breakout star at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, winning five accolades including Song of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. Cody Johnson secured the night's top honor, Entertainer of the Year, in addition to being named Male Artist of the Year.
- The ceremony, hosted by Shania Twain, was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, a new venue for the event.
