In a remarkable moment for British history, today the country's most senior judge Lady Hale delivered the news that the prorogation of parliament was unlawful - whilst wearing a flesh-eating camel spider brooch.
Naturally, social media was soon inundated with pictures of the metaphoric fashion choice, and shortly after, a t-shirt bearing the same venomous spider design went up for sale on eBay.
An ominous black hue with a glittering silver spider motif just like Lady Hale's, the t-shirts cost £10 each - plus £2.95 shipping - with 30% of every sale going to homelessness charity Shelter.
If that wasn't enough genius for one day, the company behind the t-shirts - Balcony Shirts - is ironically also from Boris' own constituency, based in Uxbridge.
According to Balcony Shirts' Scott Raison, the t-shirts have already raised over £5,000 for Shelter in the past few hours since Hale delivered the court's verdict, as well as catching the eye of MP Jess Phillips, who tweeted "Want!" after spotting a photo of the clever t-shirt online.
Now we just need to find a way for everyone to turn up to parliament tomorrow wearing them...
But it seems Lady Hale's penchant for brooches isn't solely limited to allegory-heavy camel spiders, as she's also been pictured touting plenty of other creepy crawlies, including frogs, beetles and even a caterpillar on her profile on the supreme court website. Idol.
