Lady Gaga suffers Marilyn Monroe wardrobe malfunction after late night show chat

Lady Gaga suffered a mild wardrobe malfunction as her dress fluttered up in the wind following an interview with Stephen Colbert at NBC Studios.

The Rain On Me star was leaving her appearance at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in New York City when her black dress caused a Marilyn Monroe moment.

Her daring flowing dress already had a slit that went all the way up her leg. The dress also went around one shoulder and exposed a part of her midriff.

Gaga styled her iconic platinum blonde locks into loose waves that cascaded around her face.

She kept the jewellery simple with gold earrings and focused on heavy smokey eye make-up and nude lips.

The Applause hitmaker - who was shining in gold heels - has been promoting her new movie House Of Gucci.

She stars in the biographical crime film as Patrizia Reggiani alongside Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and Salma Hayek.

The movie is directed by Hannibal director Ridley Scott.

Lady Gaga served some iconic looks as she promoted the film in Europe last week.

At the UK's London premiere in Leicester Square, the singer and actress rocked an iconic bright purple Gucci dress.

In true Gaga fashion, she made sure to wear ridiculously platform black heels.

The dress' waist-high slit also allowed Gaga to show off her black tights and lingerie.

Lady Gaga recently opened up about the difficulties of her role in House Of Gucci.

The pop icon confessed she purposely avoided talking to Patrizia Gucci before playing her in the movie.

She said that 'nobody' was going to tell her how to play the role of Patrizia.

The Italian socialite was found guilty and was sentenced to 29 years for hiring a hitman that murdered her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci.

"I had some psychological difficulty at one point towards the end of filming. I was either in my hotel room, living and speaking as Reggiani, or I was on set, living and speaking as her," the Judas singer told British Vogue.

"I remember I went out into Italy one day with a hat on to take a walk. I hadn’t taken a walk in about two months and I panicked. I thought I was on a movie set."
