Lady Gaga stops show to condemn ICE: ‘Families are being mercilessly targeted’

Lady Gaga stopped a concert in Japan to condemn United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The pop superstar, 39, was performing in Tokyo for The Mayhem Ball Tour on Thursday, 29 January, when she paused to talk about "something important to people all over the world."

"My heart is aching thinking about the people, the children, the families all over America who are being mercilessly targeted by ICE," she told the audience.

Lady Gaga's speech comes as outrage grows over the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents.
