Lady Gaga's dog walker Ryan Fischer spotted after leaving hospital following shooting

Lady Gaga's dog walker Ryan Fischer has been spotted for the first time after he was released from hospital in March.

The 35-year-old pop icon's trusted dog walker was left suffering from a collapsed lung in February after dognappers opened fire while he was walking with Lady Gaga's pooches, Koji, Miss Asia and Gustavo.

Following the incident, Ryan was placed under the care of medical professionals because of his complicated recovery but was discharged at the end of March.

Earlier this week, Ryan appeared in high spirits after he was spotted for the first time since leaving hospital.

In the snaps, Ryan was pictured waving and smiling from a balcony as he enjoyed a spot of sunshine with two friends.

The dog walker donned a white shirt and a brown hat and gleefully waved at passing photographers while basking in the sunshine with his pals.

Ryan's cheerful snaps come just over three months after he was shot four times in the chest by robbers who left the scene with two of Lady Gaga's pet dogs.

At the time, doorbell footage captured the harrowing incident in West Hollywood during which Ryan called out for help after being shot in the chest.

During his recovery, Ryan revealed to social media followers that he was healing from the "emotional trauma" caused by the shooting and now sees every day as a 'gift'.

After Gaga - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta- found out her dogs were taken she posted a $500,000 reward for information about the stolen pooches.

The stolen dogs were returned unharmed to Los Angeles police station three days later.

Lady Gaga has had nothing but praise for the bravery of her dog walker and even reportedly pledged to pay for Ryan's medical fees following his ordeal.

At the end of April, law enforcement sources told TMZ that five suspects had been arrested on a variety of charges, including attempted murder and robbery.

The woman who returned the stolen dogs was among those arrested.

Los Angeles police later confirmed that the suspects accused of taking the singer's bulldogs and shooting her dog walker didn't know of the connection to Lady Gaga.
