Lady Gaga has released the star-studded tracklist for her new album Chromatica.
The “Born This Way” singer treated fans to the breakdown of her highly anticipated sixth studio album on Wednesday as she shared the tracklisting on Instagram.
The 16-song album, which marks Gaga’s return to pop, sees the singer collaborate with a number of high-profile artists, including Ariana Grande, who appears on the track “Rain On Me”.
Meanwhile, K-pop girl group Blackpink feature on song “Sour Candy” and Elton John duets with Gaga for “Sine From Above”.
It follows after Gaga was forced to make the “incredibly tough” decision to delay Chromatica’s original release date from 10 April due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“While I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic,” she wrote on social media.
“Instead I prefer that we spend time focusing on finding solutions. It’s important to me that the attention is on getting essential medical equipment to healthcare professionals, making sure kids who depend on public schools for meals get the assistance they need, and that we help those who will be financially impacted by this pandemic.”
To support Covid-19 relief, Gaga helped organise virtual coronavirus concert One World: Together at Home, which went on to raise £102m ($127m) for the cause.
