Fans of Lady Gaga have expressed their support for the musician after her dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, was shot four times while walking the singer’s French bulldogs.

Two of the singer’s dogs, Koji and Gustavo, were stolen in the attack, according to multiple reports, while the shooting victim was rushed to hospital in an unknown condition.

Los Angeles Police confirmed that a shooting had occurred in West Hollywood shortly before 10pm PT on Wednesday night (24 February). Two male suspects fled the scene, with a third bulldog being recovered at the crime scene by police.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is reportedly offering $500,000 for the return of her dogs, according to TMZ.

After news of the shooting broke, fans of Gaga reached out on social media to express their shock and offer condolences.

“It’s a sick sad world. Hope you’re ok. Sending prayers,” wrote one Twitter user.

Another described the attack as “inhumane and disgraceful” while many described the shooting and theft as “evil”.

“What the actual f*** is wrong with people,” asked someone else. “@ladygaga I’m so sorry and I’m devastated. I hope for the recovery of the dog walker and hope the pups are fine.”

The Independent has reached out to representatives of the singer for comment.
