Lady Gaga breaks silence on pregnancy reports amid Bradley Cooper speculation

Lady Gaga has revealed she is pregnant… with her next album.

The pop superstar finally responded to reports she is expecting her first child by announcing plans for new music.

Dispelling all talk on Twitter she wrote: “Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.”

The tweet sparked a flurry of memes from fans who mocked up images of her ‘pregnancy belly’ with a Grammy Award inside.

Others are convinced Rihanna will be involved in at least one of the tracks, after Gaga followed her and record producer BloodPop on social media.

“WELL GIVE BIRTH NOWWWW,” one wrote.

Another posted: “So she's giving birth to another hit and the album as well. LG6 Born This Way.. Mother monster is alive.”

A third joked: “What if she’s really pregnant and the kid’s name will be the title of #LG6.”

The album would mark her first since Joanne in 2016.

Gaga’s tweet comes weeks after she was forced to dispel reports of a romance with her A Star is Born co-star Bradley Cooper after their intense Oscars duet.

The pair sparked speculation as they performed Shallow alongside one another at a grand piano.

Gaga, who recently split from her fiance Christian Carino, told Jimmy Kimmel: “First of all, social media quite frankly is the toilet of the Internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal.

“And people saw love, and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see. This is a love song, the movie is a love story.”

Piers Morgan was among those questioning their friendship, tweeting: “Are we 100% certain these two are just good friends...?”

Spice Girl Mel B said she was left feeling “uncomfortable” for Cooper’s girlfriend Irina Shayk, who he shares a one-year-old daughter Lea with.
