Lady Gaga books Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena... oh wait, it's a tribute act

She's been given the seal of approval by the Oscar-winning queen of pop herself, but will you be able to tell the difference when 'the world's number one Lady Gaga tribute act' comes to Nottingham?

Welsh performer Donna Marie, who also featured on BBC One’s music competition All Together Now, will be heading to the Motorpoint Arena - the very venue Lady Gaga herself sold out in 2010 - on Friday, November 1 for an all-singing, all-dancing, fully pyrotechnic show faithfully recreating Gaga's most memorable stage performances.

There will also be songs from the academy award-winning soundtrack featured in the box office smash-hit movie A Star is Born including duets with Adam Kelbie as Bradley Cooper's Jackson Maine.

Speaking to the BBC early this year, Donna said she is a "mum by day and Lady Gaga by night" before revealing how she had met the star in person.

She said: "She was like, 'oh my god!' You look just like me, I can't believe how amazing you are."

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, April 5, priced at £29.20 (price already includes admin fee).

They will be available at motorpointarenanottingham.com, 0843 373 3000 or in person at the box office.

A venue pre-sale will take place from 10am on Thursday, April 4. Customers wishing to obtain priority tickets will need to sign up to the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham mailing list by 4pm on Wednesday, April 3. The pre-sale email will be sent to new mailing list subscribers after 5pm on Wednesday, April 3.

It's not the first tribute act booked to perform at the venue this year as Killer Queen play on September 27.
