Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performing Shallow at Oscars 2019 hailed as best part of this year's show

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper reunited on stage at the Oscars to perform Shallow, the standout song from A Star is Born as fans praised their palpable “chemistry.”

Academy Awards viewers described their rendition of the hit track as the “best” part of the ceremony so far, and couldn’t help but notice the “beautiful” rapport between the two Oscar nominees.

Gaga and her musical collaborators Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt went on to pick up the Best Original Song Oscar for the track, prompting the singer to thank her parents and her co-star.

“The best so far… seeing Bradley and Gaga performing is beyond amazing… the chemistry is undeniable,” one impressed viewer wrote on Twitter.

“They have amazing chemistry. I really enjoy a superstar showing such humility. Lady Gaga is a worthy Oscar winner,” another added.

“Wow that performance by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was pure gold… love them and their chemistry,” a third pointed out.

“Who else went gaga for @ladygaga and #BradleyCooper’s #Oscars performance tonight? Their chemistry was palpable,” another wrote. “I could feel the love in every word that was sung. Outstanding performance you two and congratulations on the win!”

“I love you mum and dad, Bradley,” she said in an emotional acceptance speech. “Thank you for believing in us. Thank you so much.

“This is hard work, I’ve worked hard at this for a long time… If you have a dream, fight for it,” she concluded.

Gaga lost out to Olivia Colman in the Best Actress category.
