LadBaby's net worth as Nottingham couple make history with 4 Christmas number ones

History-making Nottinghamshire YouTube stars Ladbaby have quickly become household names.

Mark Ian Hoyle, also known as LadBaby, is a British lifestyle blogger and YouTuber from Nottingham.

He's also a graphic designer and author.

The star lives in Nottingham where he is often seen out and about with his wife Roxanne, who is now part of the duo, and two sons Phoenix Forest and Kobe Notts.

In 2016, while Roxanne was pregnant with their first child, Mark decided to create a blog which he called LadBaby.

The premise of the channel was to show how Mark went from being a lad to a dad and making funny YouTube videos and blogs along the way.

He also wanted to provide life hacks and advice for those hoping to save money with potentially costly parenting tasks.

After getting lots of success through this, and now more than one million subscribers, the sausage roll journey started.

The couple overtook the Spice Girls and the Beatles by teaming up with Ed Sheeran and Elton John on a sausage roll remix of their festive single, Merry Christmas, renamed Sausage Rolls For Everyone and became the first act ever to score four consecutive Christmas number ones.

Their first hit dates back to 2018 with We Built This City. LadBaby reached number one the following two years with I Love Sausage Rolls and in 2020 with Don’t Stop Me Eatin’.

All money raised from the songs were donated to the Trussell Trust food bank charity.

The two stars' career has seen their net worth skyrocket over the last few years, with Company Check claiming they were worth a whopping £1.2million back in 2021, the Daily Star reported.

In comparison, in 2018 they were valued at £71,339 and in 2019 it was at £498,076.

The website also states that they had £1.4m in assets in 2020, which was valued at £654,949.00 in 2019.

The pair have been named parents of the year and LadBaby won the title Celebrity Dad of the Year in Clas Ohlson's awards.

He beat the likes of Prince William, while Roxanne won Celebrity Mum of the Year in 2019, beating Kate Middleton and Holly Willoughby - which she called "one of the proudest moments of my life."

The couple have also released a book called Greg the Sausage Roll: Santa's Little Helper, illustrated by Gareth Conway.

But it's not always been easy for the couple.

Roxanne tearfully recalled a time when she simply did not have enough money to pay for her shopping when she arrived at the checkout in a supermarket.

Herself and Mark had decided to become parents and had a very strict budget of £20 per week to buy food, but when she arrived at the checkout, the total came to £20.70, leaving her "embarrassed", panicking and unable to pay.

Roxanne added: "I will never forget how that felt as a mum. I never want anyone to be sitting at that dinner table saying, they're eating, but they have nothing in front of them.

"People can judge but I don't want people to feel embarrassed by that."
