LadBaby Christmas single comes out on top in midweek chart

LadBaby's Christmas single is holding the top spot on the midweek chart as the family aim for Number One.

As it stands, Mark Hoyle's LadBaby track comes out on top, ahead of Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You and Wham's Last Christmas.

The Official Singles Chart for the week of December 21 to December 27 shows that 'Don't Stop Me Eatin' is at the top spot on Tuesday, December 22.

The official music video of the song, posted by LadBaby on YouTube, has already hit almost a million views in just four days.

All money raised from the song, which they are hoping will become Christmas number one for the third time, will be donated to the Trussell Trust foodbank charity.

It comes as LadBaby mum Roxanne Hoyle tearfully recalled a time when she and Mark had a very strict budget of £20 per week to buy food, but when she arrived at the checkout, the total came to £20.70, leaving her "embarrassed".

The couple hit number one in 2018 with 'We Built This City' and in 2019 with 'I Love Sausage Rolls'.
