LadBaby and family 'glad' Nottingham is returning to normal as they hit Primark for some shopping

LadBaby and LadBaby mum said they were "glad" a sense of normality had returned to Nottingham while out for a spot of shopping.

Social media stars Mark and Roxanne Hoyle recently moved near Edwalton and took to the city centre to bag a few bargains at Primark in Long Row.

With them was three-year-old Kobe wearing his Buzz Lightyear costume.

Nottinghamshire Live stopped by for a chat as they sat down for a drink and a bite to eat at the newly opened 'Falafel', a middle-eastern restaurant which replaced the former Subway store off Old Market Square.

Mark, proudly donning his Nottingham Forest hoodie, said: "We've just been in Primark for some shopping.

"It's not as busy as it has been. We tried to go before when the queue was snaking outside.

"I'm glad to see Nottingham like this again."

Roxanne said they had been in Primark to get some clothes for the kids, Kobe and his older sibling Phoenix, five.

The pair have a world-wide audience of around 10 million fans, and Mark recently took to Nottingham's Bierkeller pub to celebrate turning 34 on April 12 when pubs reopened.

They had intended to hit Primark back then.

Mark and Roxanne won their third consecutive Christmas Number One in December with 'Don't Stop Me Eating', and each time the comedic duo have donated all proceeds to the Trussell Trust food bank charity.

The Trussell Trust operates a number of food banks across Nottingham and the wider county, including in Arnold, Clifton and Bulwell and Bestwood.
