LaDainian Tomlinson, a former prolific NFL running back and current NFL Network analyst, made a prediction for the NFC North that probably doesn’t please many Minnesota Vikings fans.
Tomlinson went on NFL Network and named the Packers as the favorite to win their division. Here’s what he said about the choice:
“Last time I checked, they still have the best quarterback in that division,” Tomlinson said about Green Bay. “[Rodgers] is going into his second season in Matt LaFleur’s offense. I really believe he’s going to play his best football, because of that.”
Tomlinson thinks that Rodgers will have a chip on his shoulder after the Packers drafted Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
“Now, he might not throw for as many yards and touchdowns, but I believe he will be more efficient when they need him to be, especially in the fourth quarter,” Tomlinson said.
