'Lad has no luck' - Arsenal fans send well wishes to Kieran Tierney following injury diagnosis

Arsenal have confirmed that Kieran Tierney will be out of action for around three months.

The defender missed the start of the season after joining from Celtic in a transfer worth around £25million. Tierney was recovering after undergoing surgery on a groin injury.

After slowly earning his place as first choice left-back under Unai Emery, Tierney was back in the starting line up for the away trip to face West Ham at the beginning of the week.

But with an hour gone, he was replaced after suffering a suspected shoulder dislocation, which the club have now confirmed.

"Kieran Tierney. Right shoulder. Dislocated right shoulder during West Ham United (a)," reads a statement on Arsenal's official webste. "Kieran will undergo surgery next week and will rehabilitate for around three months."

That means the time-frame for the 22-year-old's return is mid-March at the earliest, and he will be missing at least 18 games in his latest injury run, including both legs of the Europa League round of 32 tie, with the draw set to take place next week.

Fans of both Arsenal and other clubs were quick to send their well wishes to the Scotland international, who has suffered a torrid time with injuries of late.
