Nottingham Forest fans have been debating ’s future at the City Ground.
The forward is spending the season on loan with the Reds from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers, but is yet to find form in the Garibaldi.
The Spain Under-21 international is yet to find the back of the net during his time on Trentside, having made 13 appearances for the Reds.
Sabri Lamouchi has opted to include the striker in his starting line-up on just four occasions, with two of those coming in the Championship including a start in the 2-2 draw with Millwall last week. Mir was eventually replaced by Lewis Grabban who scored a brace at The Den.
With Mir yet to find the form that saw Forest decide to sign the striker in the summer, Reds fans have been debating whether the club need to sign a new forward during the January transfer window.
Here is a selection of what they had to say.
Tony Ainscough: “Lacking basic skills such as control timing and the ability to stay onside!”
Adrian Hull: “I'd rather have Walker, Murphy or Vellios!”
Phil Coker: “I don’t understand us loaning Tyler out. He's a better option than Mir.”
Richard Ward: “Awful..at least bring Walker back!”
Darren Weston: “Tyler is smart, has a good touch, makes intelligent runs, no worse than Mir for sure.”
Craig Foster: “Not what we need right now, but wish him well for the future.”
Joe Stewart: “Need another quality striker for any chance of promotion. Cannot rely on just Grabban!”
Robert Norton: “I haven't seen anything from him to be able to say he will contribute anything to our promotion effort.”
