Lacey appeals for a new home

A sensitive pooch is appealing for an new place to call home.

Lacey is a six-year-old German Shepherd cross currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.

Her carers say she is a sensitive girl who is very affectionate with the people she trusts.

A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Lacey is an active dog who loves being outdoors – going for long walks or spending her time running around the garden and has perfected the game fetch.

“She will need to be walked in quiet dog free areas as she is uncomfortable around dogs and people she may not know.

“Lacey enjoys trips in the car to quiet areas where she can relax on her walks. She is housetrained and may live with children aged 16 and above.”

If you think you think you could provide a home for Lacey or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on twitter @DT_WestCalder or Instagram @dogstrust_westcalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.

Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access during the coronavirus outbreak.

Dogs Trust West Calder are currently recruiting new volunteers. For more information please contact the centre on 01506 873459 or email WCVvolunteers@dogstrust.org.uk
