Lacazette dropped as Freddie Ljungberg makes Pepe call: How Arsenal should line-up vs Brighton

Arsenals 2-2 draw with Norwich should be viewed as a building block rather than another pit stop.

Encouraging passages of play were overshadowed by defensive lapses but shouldn't be ignored. Alongside the performance, Arsenal's change from an attitude of self-pity to self-belief was evident.

"When we went 1-0 down, the players weren't shaking their heads, they were actually going 'come on guys we can sort this out'. That shows they believe they are quality players." Freddie Ljungberg said after the match.

The Swede will have to build on this belief, however, and making changes to a surprising starting lineup at Norwich could be the way to do this.

We asked our Arsenal writers and Gunners fans on the football.london team to name the team they would choose if they were in charge on Saturday.

Calum Chambers deserves a rest from playing right-back. He looks increasingly tired with each game and with Ainsley Maitland-Niles having a month-long layoff, now should be the time to bring him back in.

Brendan Rodgers on links to the Arsenal job

Arsenal have seven games before January so it may be worth bringing in Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney as they try to rebuild fitness.

Just ahead of the defence, a two-man pivot could work well. Lucas Torreira excelled putting out fires next to a partner last season but hasn't quite had the same opportunity this term.

Next to him, Matteo Guendouzi would be the better option. Granit Xhaka hasn't been terrible since returning but does look like he will take some time to get back up to speed. Although that may be a reason for him to start, Guendouzi has shone brighter this season.

Unfortunately, Alexandre Lacazette may have to drop out of the front four. The Frenchman plays a vital role in holding up the ball and linking play but Brighton and home could be a chance to experiment.

Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe on the wings could be a sight to behold with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang between the width of the posts.

After Sunday's poor display, Freddie Ljungberg would be entitled to make wholesale changes to his starting line-up.

Kieran Tierney should come back into the back four and I would like to see David Luiz taken out of the side, with Rob Holding to replace him.

Calum Chambers can shift across and partner his compatriot.

With doubts about Nicolas Pepe's attitude in training, it is time to unleash Gabriel Martinelli from the start and move Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back into the middle where he can cause the most damage.

Ha's team: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Chambers. Holding, Tierney, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Willock, Martinelli, Ozil, Aubameyang. (4-3-3)
