Labrador rescued from small space after getting itself stuck

A dog has been safely rescued after getting trapped in a very tight space, fire crews have said. The dog, a Labrador, found itself stuck between a portacabin and a breezeblock wall and needed some encouragement to free itself.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of the pooch, trapped on Badminton Road, Winterbourne at about 11.25am on Thursday, June 15. Photos taken at the scene show the dog looking forlornly at its rescuers.

The dog, looking a little squished, appeared to have been given a bowl of water ahead of its rescue. Thankfully, according to a statement from the rescue service, the dog was able to release itself with some encouragemennt.
