Liz Truss is facing heavy criticism on Thursday evening - after three new polls showed that Labour had taken a massive lead over the Conservative Party.
Keir Starmer's party has record advantages over their rivals hours after Prime Minister Truss had a disastrous morning where she faced a grilling during a number of interviews on local BBC radio stations.
A new YouGov survey commissioned by the Times UK has Labour 33 points ahead of the Tories.
A separate poll undertaken by Survation has them 21 points clear, while Deltapoll's survey for the Mirror gives Labour a 19 point advantage over Truss's party.
Labour are ahead of the Tories in every region, and in every age and social group except the over-65s, Leave voters, retired people, and homeowners who’ve paid off their mortgages.
The poll results arrived hours after Truss broke her silence on her Government's mini-Budget which has caused the pound to flop and the Bank of England to intervene.
In a series of brutal BBC local radio interviews, Truss struggled after days of remaining silent amid turmoil in the financial markets.
As each presenter rushed through just a few minutes’ of precious time, she was asked whether she was "ashamed of what you've done" and "what on earth were you thinking?"
She was even left lost for words on BBC Radio Stoke, while BBC Radio Bristol presenter James Hanson took no prisoners, opening with the line: “It's hard to know what is falling more since you entered Downing Street; the value of the pound or the Tory poll rating”.
