Brash's demand comes after his wife, Pamela Hargreaves, lost her council seat in Hartlepool to the Reform party.
He described the election results as 'terrible' and 'devastating' for Hartlepool and the Labour Party.
The MP urged Starmer to set a timetable for his departure and allow for a wide-ranging leadership election.
Brash criticised Labour for being 'too timid' and stated that new, bolder leadership is essential to transform the country.
