After a long summer of debate, unexpected frontrunners and occasional bouts of controversy, voting to decide the new Labour leader has closed. Registered members and supporters had until midday on Thursday to cast their vote, with the party hoping to announce their new leader on Saturday.
Dozens of would-be voters have publically complained that they are yet to receive their ballots. In our comments sections, we’ve been hearing from readers expressing similar frustrations.
Were you able to cast your vote? Whether you’re a member, affiliate or supporter, we want to hear your experiences of the voting process. Did you receive your ballot in time? Do you feel the process could have been handled better? Were you put off by the accusations by some Labour figures of there being a problem of ‘entryists’ attempting to disrupt the party, or was your vote rejected?
Let us know your experiences by filling in the form below.
I got an email yesterday with this message;

The email will come from 'labourelections@electoralreform.co.uk' with the subject line 'TIME RUNNING OUT TO VOTE: Labour Party elections'. We advise you to add this email address to your list of contacts to avoid the email going into a junk folder.

It's now Thursday afternoon and there's still no email ballot for me to vote :( Nothing in my spam folder either.
