The Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has been forced back into self-isolation at home after a member of his team tested positive for coronavirus.
The news comes as a a member of his private office was found to have the virus.
No other details of the positive coronavirus case have been released.
“Keir is well and not showing any symptoms.
"He will now be working from home,” a spokesman for Sir Keir said.
He is expected to remain in isolation until December 16.
And it is likely on Wednesday he will join Prime Minister's Questions by remote video link, or that his deputy, Angela Rayner, will take his place in the House of Commons.
Back in September, Sir Keir went into self-isolation after one of his children showed symptoms of coronavirus.
The child's coronavirus test came back negative, so he was able to resume leading the Labour party as normal.
Sir Keir has not commented on the news that he has had to self-isolate again.
Yesterday, he visited a gin distillery in Portsmouth to support small businesses.
