The Labor Party has admitted election campaign material of Deputy Premier Jackie Trad has been wrongfully dumped in bushland near Brisbane.
The ABC understands the signage, which includes posters, plastic banners and bunting, was found on a private property at Samford, covered in grass and weeds.
The man who discovered the signage, Garry Herbert, said it looked like it had been dumped off the back of a truck.
"It's in the hundreds and hundreds," he said.
"It's not a random thing. It wasn't put there by hand. It's an odd place for you to put something."
Labor state secretary Julie-Ann Campbell admitted the advertising products were not supposed to be there.
"Today, we learned that after the 2017 election, an amount of campaign material was not properly disposed of by a volunteer," she said in a statement.
"We will make arrangements for this material to be cleaned up and properly disposed of as soon as possible."
Mr Herbert said he was shocked when he came across the "piles" of advertising products.
"It's an enormous amount of material," he said.
"It's all plastic.
"It includes bags and bags of bunting, that you'd run horizontally along a path, and signs the size of real estate signs.
"Also big banners, some of them are seven feet long I guess and three feet high."
The party could not confirm how many items were dumped at the site.
