La. Tech Linebacker Delivers Vicious Cheap Shot To Defenseless UTEP Lineman

During the first half of Friday night's Conference USA showdown between Louisiana Tech and UTEP, Bulldogs linebacker Brevin Randle stepped on the head on Miners offensive lineman Steven Hubbard.

After the play was over, Randle is clearly seen stomping on the back of Hubbard's helmet as he lied on the field in a prone position following an 11-yard run by Jake McNamara.

The redshirt senior, who has 40 tackles this season, will likely face suspension by the NCAA for his actions despite not being penalized by officials on the play.

After spending four seasons with Stephen F. Austin, Randle is playing his first season the Bulldogs. In 2021 with the Lumberjacks, the 6', 232-pound linebacker recorded the second most tackles (63) on the team.

Louisiana Tech, who is attempting to snap a two-game losing streak, leads 24–10 in the fourth quarter.
