A Newcastle taxi company is now offering an alcohol delivery service which is sure to prove popular as people look to try and enjoy themselves with their family or housemates while social distancing.
On Monday it will be two weeks since Boris effectively put all of the UK on lockdown and three weeks since he first advised everyone to work from home wherever possible.
This weekend marks a fortnight since bars and clubs across the country were told to close their doors but now well known Newcastle firm LA Taxis is looking to help people party in their owns by teaming up with Drinks Delivered and starting an alcohol delivery service.
Revealing all on Facebook they posted: "If your self isolating that doesn’t mean you can’t have a house party with those in your household.
We’ve got you covered at LA Taxis! In partnership with our friends at Drinks Delivered Newcastle we’re proud to bring you an alcohol delivery service to the folks of Newcastle.

Delivery is charged at £3 within a 3 mile radius of the NE12 postcode with an additional charge of £1 per mile thereafter. The alcohol delivery service runs from 6pm to 5am.
The service is for people 18 and over only. LA Taxis say you will need a valid form of ID such as passport or driving licence and show it at the window of the property so your driver can inspect it
All orders are contact free and therefore all orders and delivery charges must be paid upfront via debit or credit card through the website.
