Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet in October and March in La Liga after the fixtures were announced on Thursday.
Following a draw at the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) base in Madrid, the dates for the 2019-20 season were announced – including the two Clasico clashes for the forthcoming campaign.
Champions Barca host their fierce rivals Real at Camp Nou on the weekend of October 27th, with the return Clasico set to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on March 1st. Both could follow Champions League games.
The two teams kick off La Liga away from home, with Real Madrid away to Celta Vigo on the opening weekend and Barca in action at Athletic Club in Bilbao.
Those matches are scheduled for the weekend of August 18th, with the Spanish Supercopa now moved to January next year.
Barca are at home to Betis in their next game, before travelling to promoted side Osasuna in the second round of matches. The Blaugrana then host Valencia at Camp Nou, with another promoted side in wait after that as they face Granada away.
Real Madrid’s first home match is against Valladolid in the second round of the competition. Los Blancos then travel to Villarreal, before a clash with Levante at the Bernabeu and a tough trip to Sevilla in their fifth fixture.
Atletico, meanwhile, kick off their campaign with a home match against Getafe. The Rojiblancos host Real in the Madrid derby in the seventh round of games, on the weekend of September 29th, with the return at the Bernabeu due to be played on February 2nd.
Diego Simeone’s side are at home to Barcelona on December 1st, with the two teams to meet at Camp Nou on April 26th.
The campaign concludes on May 24th, with Barca away to Alaves, Atletico at home to Real Sociedad and Real Madrid at nearby Leganes.
