Have you ever craved a delicious slice of melting cheesy pizza when you just got off the plane or before you take off?
Well you are in luck because Leith-based pizza chain La Favorita are pitching up at Edinburgh Airport in their mobile trailer for a trial period.
Catching hungry passengers with the ever-tempting smell of freshly made pizza, the trailer will offer rustic wood-fired fare on the plaza outside the main entrance.
If you are a big fan of La Favorita, you will be happy to know all of the classics and favourites have made it to the menu, including Margherita pizza slice, the spice slice, the veggie slice.
They will also be serving up paninis, including the tomato and mozzarella, artichoke and speck and calabrese panini, as well as Italian coffee and fresh double chocolate, blueberry, toffee or banana muffins.
Speaking to Insider , Tony Crolla, chairman of Vittoria Group said: “We are very proud to partner with Edinburgh Airport to bring a La Favorita's menu to travelling guests at Scotland's busiest airport and look forward to serving airport passengers the same delicious, high-quality food and beverages and family-friendly hospitality that they expect from our Edinburgh restaurant locations".
