L.O.L Surprise! Live cancels some Manchester dates from first ever UK Tour

Dates have been cancelled from the first ever L.O.L Surprise! Live tour coming to Manchester this December.

The popular children's dolls are being brought to life with holograms and projections for a tour of the country, including shows at Manchester's AO Arena.

Six performances were due to run between December 30 and January 2, but now half of those have been cancelled.

The cancelled shows are 10.30am and 2pm on New Year's Eve and 5.30pm on January 2.

One mum only found out the performance she'd booked had been cancelled when she went online to check details and has had no notification from the company.

"I've emailed but even that was a pain," she said. "I had to go through a robot chat, then go through different links just to get a answer with what's going on."

The dates still scheduled to go ahead in Manchester are 5.30pm on December 30, and 10.30am and 2pm on January 2.

Some shows elsewhere have also been cancelled including selected dates in Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham.

The innovative production by Carter Entertainment will be the first family show in the UK to use holograms.

Lady Diva, Royal Bee, Swag, Neonlicious and their friends will host a dance party for the whole family, complete with chorography, costumes and new music.

The M.E.N has approached tour organisers for a comment.
