Kyril Louis-Dreyfus takes in France vs Germany as Les Bleus kick start their Euro 2020 with a win

Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus was in attendance as Les Bleus opened their Euro 2020 campaign with a win against Germany.

The 24-year-old was at the Allianz Arena as a Mats Hummels own goal gave the favourites an early platform to build on in the group of death.

The Black Cats head coach has photos with a number of the French national team on his Instagram account, including substitute Ousmane Dembele.

Louis-Dreyfus is a regular at France's International fixtures and Black Cats fans have joked about the owner doing a scouting mission of his own before jetting off to Ibiza after the game.

The Wearsider's face a huge rebuild ahead of them this summer but the young owner seems to have left the club in control of trusted employees.

Sunderland are working hard behind the scenes to bring in new faces after allowing seven players to leave the club at the end of their contracts.

Lee Johnson's side have lost a vast amount of experience in the form of Grant Leadbitter, Max Power, Josh Scowen, Remi Matthews, Callum McFadzean, Chris Maguire and Conor McLaughlin.

The club is on the hunt for "Industrious players, who make bold decisions and have creativity."
