Kyril Louis-Dreyfus' impressive run as Sunderland owner continues

Sunderland's draw with Lincoln City made it 11 games unbeaten in all competitions for the Black Cats.

It's so far, so good for the onlooking Kyril Louis-Dreyfus who has been in charge just a few months on Wearside.

This season has been a one of many firsts for the club.

None bigger than their first Wembley final win in 48 years.

But an away win at Pompey, was the first time that there was a real sense that things may be changing for good on Wearside.

Sunderland are yet to lose under Louis-Dreyfus' ownership - after it was officially confirmed by the club on February 18.

In that time, the Black Cats have won six of their eight games in League 1 - with their fine form propelling them into the automatic promotion picture.

There's belief on Wearside among players, staff and fans that they can go one better than their failings in 2019.

They'll be hoping promotion to the Championship will be among their achievements come the end of this season.
