Kyrie Irving speaks on the late Nipsey Hussle

On Sunday, rapper Nipsey Hussle died in Los Angeles as result of a shooting.

Hussle’s passing shocked fans and supporters, with many taking to Twitter to grieve.

Although he was known by many for his music career, Hussle was also trying to help improve his community in more ways than one.

Celtics guard Jaylen Brown took to Twitter, as well, retweeting Hussle’s last tweet:

Kyrie Irving was asked about Hussle after Boston’s win on Monday, according to Jay King of the Athletic. Irving told reporters:

It’s just hard because a lot of rappers and artists and entertainers lose their lives early long before they get to really change the world. And it is a sad day.
