Sydney's Steph Kyriacou has enjoyed another fine day on one of her best-scoring courses, firing a second round 65 to push herself into contention for another Ladies European Tour victory heading into the final round of the Aramco Team Series in Jeddah.

Kyriacou, who's the joint course record holder at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in Saudi Arabia, recorded her seven-under-par round on Thursday to move to within three shots of the lead and also put the four-strong outfit she's leading into second place in the team standings.

The 20-year-old Australian fired six birdies in seven holes around the turn to help her to a 10-under par total after two rounds, three behind German leader Olivia Cowan, who followed up her opening 65 with a 66 and two adrift of Argentina's Magdalena Simmermacher.

Two Britons, Bronte Law and Georgia Hall, are just a shot ahead of Kyriacou in joint-third place.

Among the early starters, it was 'Team Kyriacou' which posted the best combined round of the day at 22 under, to lie just three shots off the lead held at 37-under by Belgian Manon De Roey's quartet.

"I played well today, I hit it better today than last week, which was good. I gave myself a lot of chances and holed most of them, so it was a pretty cruisy day," said Kyriacou, who has had another fine year on the European circuit.

Law, winner of the recent Dubai Moonlight Classic, shot a 64 to move alongside former Solheim Cup teammate Hall for what should be a close-fought finale on Friday.
