Sydney golfer Steph Kyriacou has had to settle for a share of 10th place after fading in the final round of the Aramco Team Series in Jeddah.

Searching for another Ladies European Tour victory, Kyriacou was in contention after a second-round 65 which also helped put her four-player outfit in second spot on the team standings.

But she was unable to keep the birdie streak going, carding a 72 in the final round at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in Saudi Arabia to finish at 10 under.

Back-to-back bogeys on the fourth and fifth holes dented her run before the 20-year-old birdied the par-5 ninth, just as she did in the second round.

She made another two birdies on the back nine against one bogey to be level with the card.

Slovenian Pia Babnik won the individual title, with two consecutive rounds of 65 to sit at 16-under par, one shot clear of Germany's Olivia Cowan who was the overnight leader.

Babnik, aged 17, secured victory with a birdie on 18.

"It feels amazing," Babnik said.

"I must admit, I didn't know what was going on with the scores and I didn't know until before the last putt.

"I was just trying to play my game and I'm really happy with my win."

Team Pedersen - led by Danish golfer Emily Kristine Pedersen and including local amateur Ahmed Al Subaey, Hannah Burke and Krista Bakker - won the team competition.

With the floodlights turned on in Jeddah, captain Pedersen headed back down to the 18th to compete in a playoff against Lydia Hall, with an eagle on the second playoff hole ensuring she won the Team event for the second successive year.

Kyriacou's team, including Swiss amateur Andreas Feller, Laura Beveridge and Lina Boqvist, finished fourth.
