Kyrgyzstan heads to polls for snap elections and referendum after October uprising

FOCUS © FRANCE 24

Voters in Kyrgyzstan are due to choose a new president on Sunday. On the same day, this Central Asian country of six million people will also be voting in a referendum, on whether to switch from a semi-parliamentary to a semi-presidential regime.
