Celtic talisman Kyogo has been voted the sixth best player in the Asian Ballon d'Or awards after his outstanding exploits at Parkhead this season.
The Japanese international has already scored 16 goals for Celtic this season and was this week joined by countrymen Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi in Glasgow.
He also impressed with Vissel Kobe before he moved to Celtic and he was listed in sixth place in the Best Footballer in Asia award, which was created by Chinese newspaper Titan Sports in 2013 as an Asian answer to the Ballon d'Or. Asian managers and football experts vote for the award.
Tottenham Hotspur ace Son Heung-min won the award for the fifth time, ahead of Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun, who plays for Zenit St Petersburg.
Also ahead of Furuhashi were Porto playmaker Mehdi Taremi, Saudi Arabian star Salem Al-Dawsari and Arsenal ace Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The award is eligible to any player that originated from an Asian Football Confederation nation or plays for a team in the continent.
