Kyogo is Burnley transfer target as Celtic star added to Vincent Kompany's Premier League wishlist

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is targeting prolific Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi in the search for a new striker.

Kompany has assembled a hit-list if he can’t strike a deal for Tella who was instrumental in Burnley’s promotion success with 17 goals. And sister title The Mirror report 28-year-old Japanese international Kyogo is on Burnley’s radar after scoring 34 goals in 50 games to help Celtic to a domestic treble under Ange Postecoglou,Tottenham’s new boss.

New Hoops chief Brendan Rodgers, sacked by relegated Leicester in April, is desperate to keep Furuhashi at Celtic Park. But he's braced for approaches from England after the former Vissel Kobe man finished as the Premiership's top scorer.
