Kyogo in behind the scenes access as Celtic star has kickabout with young fan in Kelvingrove Park

Kyogo is the subject of an all-access documentary with his new life at Celtic getting some behind the scenes coverage.

The popular Japanese star has lit up the Scottish Premiership since arriving in the summer of 2021 and is having his best season in front of goal for Ange Postecoglou's men. The 28-year-old has three goals against rivals Rangers as part of 26 for the campaign, including a vital brace that helped win the Viaplay Cup final. Yet the nifty attacker was snubbed by his national team in a baffling move once again.

Kyogo's reach seems to have taken the world by storm as the Hoops forward was followed by TV cameras from his homeland with some heartwarming moments included. His Parkhead pal Jota eats breakfast with him at Lennoxtown before a clip shows the striker interrupting the shooting to have a kick-about with a young fan.

The forward can be seen returning the ball to a young boy at Kelvingrove Park, before having a small kick-around much to the delight of the youngster and his father.

Yet the Japanese star believes he can still do more. He said: "I can't help but talk about the past, so I look ahead and decide the goals that will help the team win.

"I think I am not good enough yet. Everyone can connect with just one ball. Football is great."
