Kym Marsh shows off her 'fab abs' as she returns to training following injury

Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has wowed fans with her 'fab abs' as she returned to training in the gym.

The 44-year-old grandmother looked incredible as she shared a selfie from the gym showing off her washboard stomach in a coral pink cropped top.

Fitness fan Kym, who played Michelle Connor in Corrie, told fans she was easing herself back in after suffering an injury.

"After being set back by an injury, I’m finally getting back at it," she wrote alongside the picture.

"Slowly, slowly, but at least I’m back on the right road! "Happy Saturday people ps: excuse the sweaty tummy."

And the compliments came pouring in for the star.

"You look stunning Kym," one impressed fan commented.

"WOW," gasped another.

"The perfectly flat tummy," complimented one.

"Fab abs," said another follower.

"Your abs are incredible," another told her.

"You look amazing!" exclaimed another.

It's been a busy summer for the ex Coronation Street favourite, whose character left the famous cobbles at Christmas.

She has been working on the new series of Kay Mellor's The Syndicate about a group of people whose lives change when they win the lottery and has been spotted filming on location with the show in Burley in Wharfedale in West Yorkshire.

Kym has also been sitting in the hot seat as a guest presenter on The One Show and she's been hosting the BBC One consumer show Your Money and Your Life with Watchdog and Rogue Traders presenter Matt Allwright.

And this week she shared a socially distanced behind-the-scenes photo of herself working with Crime+Investigation UK, a documentary channel exploring real crime, alongside fashion stylist Martine Alexander and makeup artist Sally Rowe.
