Kym Marsh shows off her chic new hairstyle as she tells fans 'new hair don't care!'

Kym Marsh has revealed a chic new look following her stint playing the iconic bunny boiler Alex Forrest in the stage version of the movie classic Fatal Attraction.

The actress sported longer curly hair for the terrifying role played by Glenn Close in the 1987 classic film until her run ended earlier this month.

Former Coronation Street star Kym has now shared her transformation with shorter tressed cut into a sleek long bob with blonde highlights.

"New hair don't care!" she exclamed as she shared a stunning makeover snap on her Instagram.

BBC Morning Live host Kym, 45, recently enjoyed 'the best time' in London with her eldest daughter Emilie Cunliffe, 24, as she supported her on her journey launching a music career.

Sharing a photo of mother and daughter at a London studio she revealed Emilie was recording her debut album.

"Exciting day with @emiliecunliffemusic @emilieecunliffe.x @bri26 @sohosonic at the start of her debut album!!!" the proud mum wrote.

Emilie gave birth to Kym's first grandchild, Teddy, in May 2019.

And the family have recently been celebrating as, not only did Emilie get engaged to her partner Mikey Hoszowsky, her brother David also popped the question to his partner Courtney and the couple discovered they're expecting their first child.

In October when Kym, who played Michelle Connor in Coronation Street from 2006 to 2019, married army major Scott Ratcliff at Sandhurst.

And she recently dazzled as walked the red carpet with her parents David and Pauline Marsh as she hosted the Pride of Birmingham Awards.

The glam actress, who is joining the BBC's rebooted school drama Waterloo Road alongside fellow former Coronation Street star Rachel Leskovac, proudly wrapped an arm around her father, who last year was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer.

Last week she wished her dad a happy birthday, saying: "Dad you are the most incredible man I have ever known!

"You are selfless and kind, the family have always come first with you, you did everything to give us what we needed when we were little and you STILL do!

Always there when we need you, always there with a wise word or the silliest joke ever, that’s if you remember the punchline hahah! "Everyone who meets you just loves you!! You’re like a magnet, people just want to be around you!

"In short I have no idea what we would do without you! You are my hero daddy and I will always be your shadow! So here’s to you! "Dave Marsh…official legend and all round fan bloody tastic guy!! Have the best day!! Love you always and forever."
